An Exciting and Refreshing Experience
I strongly recommend Joe’s coaching. Working with him over the last six months has been an exciting and refreshing experience. As we worked together it became clear that I had a number of misconceptions about the qualifications for effective leadership. Through his skillful questions and well-timed advice I came to see that I can and must lead from my strengths for our organization to benefit the most. Joe’s knowledge and expertise with the Myers-Briggs and StrengthsFinder 2.0 assessments was extremely helpful. I have a much clearer perspective on myself, how I function and how I can apply that to my work. For example, I am much more comfortable with who I am and why I lead the way I do. Joe is a very affirming individual. However, he wasn’t afraid to point out faulty beliefs and practice on my part, but he did so with a spirit of gentleness. I am now moving forward with a renewed energy and sense of purpose. When I function within my strengths I find the work of ministry to be exciting and rewarding. Having Joe’s help getting me oriented to work within my strengths was an invaluable gift to me and, I’m convinced, to the entire church.

I highly recommend Joe and his “Life Map” program. When we began I was skeptical, but the benefits of working through the process have been tremendous. It has helped me organize my thoughts and prioritize my goals for my life. It has also had a major impact on my confidence. Though I deeply enjoyed it, I never saw the full potential of what it can look like by developing this desire further and joining it with some of my other strengths. A Good Listener
I deeply enjoyed the privilege of working alongside Joe Denner for a year and a half. He helped me see that being a good listener was not only giving an ear but also asking good probing questions. He pointed out the need to allow other people to have ownership of their situation.
