Joe Denner is a person of tremendous integrity and an effective listener. He listens to what you're saying and, at times more importantly, what you're not saying and asks skillful follow-up questions that lead to powerful insights. I hired Joe Denner as a leadership coach to walk me through his Life Map process. It was an incredibly valuable experience for me as a leader and as a person. We started with two quality assessment tools. Joe helped me thoroughly understand the results. His expertise with the instruments and the powerful questions provoked deeper reflection and understanding. He also facilitated the process of me taking meaningful actions based on what I learned about myself. Assessments without proper coaching do not amount to anything. Coaching is the key ingredient to making them work for you. On the back end of decisions he provided the accountability I needed to get the results I wanted. Joe also provided a safe, confidential environment. Leadership can be a lonely path. Joe became a friend with whom I could discuss anything, providing me an opportunity to process real-life leadership issues in ways I could not do with other people. A Good Listener
I deeply enjoyed the privilege of working alongside Joe Denner for a year and a half. He helped me see that being a good listener was not only giving an ear but also asking good probing questions. He pointed out the need to allow other people to have ownership of their situation.
